Washing Instructions:
The beautiful piece of handmade lace should be looked after with care. Soak it overnight, if needed, then rinse it by hand and put it on the top of clean white towel to dry. The towel will absorb the excess water which will run from it.
Not to be bleached, tumble dried, dry cleaned or washed with other colours.
Ironing Instructions:
Just spray some water on it and use the cotton programme on your iron. Iron it thoroughly making sure the stitches of the lace don't get trapped on the nose of the iron or the lace may get ruined.
TIP: These delicate pieces of lace, baby and small girls' outfits are better ironed with a small iron

OUR HISTORY
Josephina Lace is a UK-based brand, but our lace & embroidery are handcrafted in Poção, Northeast of Brazil, by a group of women who have been making lace & embroidery for generations. Their exclusive, high-quality works are lovingly created within their family environment, so there isn't stress or forced labour involved in the creation of any of Josephina Lace's products! Their "master-pieces" are mostly created of 100% cotton, which in Brazil comes, mostly, from sustainable sources. Therefore, the items you get from Josephina Lace in the UK and Europe can be considered both as "fair trade" and family "heirlooms." Look after them with love and care and they will last for a long time, which is both good for you and the environment!
Josephina Lace supports these women lacemakers in their hometown as well as Children with Cancer UK
